Remember the old Aunt Daisy Cookbook I bought a while back? It was in a pretty sorry state - ripped cover, itself in two pieces; loose pages and so on. This was it then:
And here it is now, back from the bookbinders!
Not bad, eh!
It's as good as new, and sturdy to boot. A big thank you to Brian Fitzsimons at Brimar Bookbinding over in Havelock North for his excellent work. It didn't cost much either.

The book looks great! It always makes me feel a little bit sad when I see mangled books. Unless it's a condensed Reader's Digest in which case I say mangle away to your heart's content.
Well, they're half way there, aren't they?
They have done a great job, I must get my Mrs Beeton's book re-bound too, the spine has come away from the book but it's it great condition considering it was published 1899!
